Sony has launched a new budget pair of headphones called WH-CH720N in India. The earbuds come with noise canceling capabilities, up to 50 hours of battery life, and more. Take a look at all the features, price and more details below.
Sony WH-CH720N: specs and features
The Sony WH-CH720N has Dual noise sensor technology and Sony’s built-in Processor V1 chip to make noise cancellation work. There is also support for Ambient Mode (to let in necessary background sounds) and the Adaptive Sound Control feature.

The on-ear headphones are lightweight and contribute to a sustainable environment as no plastic has been used in their packaging. They feature 30mm drivers and Sony’s signature Digital Sound Enhancement Engine (DSEE), which retains the high-quality elements of a song even when compressed. Sony’s audio tuning ensures a balanced output and the V1 chip further reduces distortion. DSEE Ultimate upscaling is available for songs downloaded and streamed over Wi-Fi.
These can provide up to 50 hours of playtime (up to 35 hours with noise cancellation enabled) and support fast charging. This can provide a approximately one hour play time in just 3 minutes.
The call experience is also flattened out with the inclusion of beamforming microphones with Precise Voice Pickup technology so voice sounds clearer. And the mics have the wind noise reduction structure to reduce background noise during calls.
Additionally, the WH-CH720N comes with multipoint connectivity, Swift Pair, Google Fast Pair, voice commands, button commands, Bluetooth version 5.2, and AAC and SBC audio codecs.
