Google I/O 2023 is a few months away and in addition to AI talks and Google app details, we’re also expecting hardware. That includes the Pixel 7a, the Pixel tablet, the Pixel Fold, and even the Pixel 8 series. returned have now leaked. Check it out below!
It could be the Pixel 8 Pro!
Well-known tipster OnLeaks has teamed up with Smartprice to show us the possible look of the Google Pixel 8 Pro and there are some changes to expect. While the next Pixel phone will retain the basic visor design of current Pixels, it will enclose the three rear cameras in an oval-shaped configuration instead of placing them separately.
Another change is the inclusion of a fourth camera, which will be placed separately under the LED flash. However, we do not know if it is a macro or a depth camera. You can see it below.
Then the Pixel 8 Pro will feature rounded corners unlike the square design of the Pixel 7 series. Although this does not mean that the screen will be curved. Rounded corners will only affect the screen area. It is said to have a 6.52-inch display, which would be smaller than the Pixel 7 Pro’s 6.7-inch screen size. It should measure 162.6 × 76.5 × 8.7 mm and be 12 mm thick. The vanilla Pixel 8 could also follow the same design philosophy, but nothing is concrete yet.
As for the technical details, the next Pixel 8 series could be powered by the next-gen Tensor G3 chipset and making more AI improvements, given that it’s all the rage these days. Camera, battery and other upgrades are also at your disposal.
Proper details on the upcoming Google Pixel hardware are still behind the veil and we’ll have to wait at least until the I/O 2023 event for clarity. We’ll keep you posted, so stay tuned. In the meantime, share your thoughts on the design of the leaked Pixel 8 Pro in the comments below.
